Puebla (Agenzia Fides) - Violence and family conflicts, stress and lack of food, are breeding grounds for children who attend school and listlessly increasingly become aggressive towards other classmates. The alarm was launched by the Auxiliary Bishop of Puebla, Mgr. Felipe Pozos Lorenzini. "We live in a very difficult world, where there is no dialogue and contact. I think the key lies in the reconstruction of the social fabric. The school can certainly help with initiatives such as 'Safe Backpack', but the problem must be tackled at the root", said the Bishop, in the note sent to Fides. Before him, the Bishops of the diocese of Zacatecas, Mexico, had complained about the phenomenon suggesting the campaign "Safe Family before Safe Backpack" (see Fides 23/01/2017).
