Mosul (Agenzia Fides) - The areas in the Nineveh Plain, freed from the control of the jihadists of the Islamic State (Daesh) by the Iraqi National Army, are subjected to a system of security and self-defense that also includes the involvement of organized armed protection Unit on confessional basis, including groups of Syrian and Assyrian Christians.
