AFRICA/EGYPT - Inmate accused of the New Year massacre in the church of Alexandria released from prison

Alexandria (Agenzia Fides) - He was released from prison accused of having planned and carried out the attack on New Year's Eve 2011 at the Coptic church of Saints Mark and Peter in Alexandria, Egypt, which caused 23 deaths and nearly a hundred wounded among the faithful who had gathered at the place of worship to participate in the midnight liturgical rite.
