AFRICA/CHAD - Appointment of the Rector of the "Saint Luc" Theological major Seminary in Bakara

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On June 9, 2016 Cardinal Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed rev. Dominique Tinoudji, of the clergy of the diocese of Moundou as Rector of the "Saint Luc" interdiocesan Theological major Seminary in Bakara, in the Archdiocese of N 'Djamena, Chad.
The new Rector was born on 8 August 1973 in Manli (Beinamar). After his primary and secondary education, he entered the Saint Jean Pala Seminary in 1993, and in 1996 he continued his formation at the "Saint Luc" Major Seminary in Bakara. He was ordained a priest in 2005.
From 2005 to 2008 he continued his studies at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Central Italy, in Florence, obtaining a licentiate in biblical theology. For three years (2008-2011) he was a formator at the "Saint Luc" Major Seminary in Bakara, and continued his studies in Florence for a doctorate in biblical theology (2011-2015).
