Madrid (Agenzia Fides) - A new initiative of the Spanish NGO Plan International launches an appeal for child education in Africa. Through the campaign "Break the Wall", the NGO wants to extend education to many young illiterates in the continent.
The goal is to collect 100,000 text messages that allows schooling for children. It is one of the many initiatives of the NGO, dedicated among other things, to the support and protection of children in terms of education, sexual and reproductive health, nutrition and hydration or assistance for young children. Engaged in Asia, America and Africa, Plan International also works in response to crises and emergencies such as earthquakes and cataclysms. Currently it is also involved in Ecuador to protect earthquake children. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 27/06/2016)
