Asuncion (Agenzia Fides) - The health center of Guarambaré has just launched a "children's club", a space where the little ones and their parents will be together once a month. The statement sent to Fides says that the goal of this club is the prevention of childhood diseases, such as acute respiratory infections, acute diarrheal diseases, food poisoning and many others. During the meetings several issues will in fact be addressed: families will be told how to deal and prevent cases of diarrhea and dehydration, they will be offered healthy lifestyles.... It is an initiative included in the strategy "Integrated Assistance for Prevalent Childhood Diseases" (AIEPI), which aims to solve and address the major causes of mortality of children under 5 years of age in the country.
