Violence inTehuacan

Tehuacan (Agenzia Fides) – "The world today does not encouge us to have mercy on the contrary, it encourages us to be forceful judges and executants so that violence is punished with more violence and this is arrogance and abuse, and with these criteria, the human world is turning savage". This was said by Bishop Rodrigo Aguilar Martínez of the diocese of Tehuacan (Puebla, Mexico), in a brief conversation with the local press after an act of lynching in Aquiles Serdan colony in Chapulco and a killing in Palmar de Bravo, both places in his diocese, according to the report sent to Fides.
Commenting these sad events, the Bishop said when we are aggressors and the aggressor always thinks he is acting fairly and in the best manner to solve a problem, precisely in those circumstances we never think of showing mercy, which is seen as a weakness. Bishop Aguilar Martínez concluded saying that sad to say to the cases mentioned others must be added, of which the media never speak, but in his ministry has seen for himself, such as a case a few days ago in Tehuacán, where a youth was left bleeding after being beaten up by a group of people for trivial reasons.
