Lahore (Agenzia Fides) - The Catholic community of Lahore celebrated the priestly Jubilee of Fr. Benjamin Joseph, who has been proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, carrying out charitable initiatives and dialogue with everyone for 50 years
In a Mass of thanksgiving celebrated by him in the Seminary of Santa Maria, in the presence of seminarians, students, nuns and novices, Fr. Benjamin Joseph thanked God for his vocation, his parents and teachers "because they gave me the gift of the Christian faith". "The vocation to priesthood is a divine mystery and grace and we must always pray to be authentic in living this ministry". His long experience will be of help to a lot of young seminarians, who he advised to be "always ready to make sacrifice to love God and love each other. Fr. Joseph "thanked the priests. Among these, Fr. Emmanuel Asi added that "the Jubilee of Benjamin’s priesthood gives great strength for our vocations". The Rector of the Seminary of St. Mary, Fr.
