Abidjan (Agenzia Fides) - "Ecclesia TV", the Catholic television in the Ivory Coast will begin broadcasting on December 8. This was announced by Don Augustin Obrou, Head of Communication and External Relations of the Archdiocese of Abidjan.
"The Catholic national television aims to train, inform and educate viewers" says a statement sent to Fides.
"The advantage of television is to convey truly Catholic messages, to reach most of the people around the world, to evangelize, to comfort and to accompany the lonely".
