Managua (Agenzia Fides) - The Bishops of the Episcopal Conference of Nicaragua are meeting these days (16, 17 and 18 November) to examine the pastoral work of each Commission and reflect on the commitment of the Church in this Country. This annual meeting allows to assess the results, problems and limits of the pastoral work, and make the necessary improvements to achieve its preset goals: to proclaim the Word of God to people today with all available means, including modern digital platforms.
One of the main points of the meeting is in fact new technologies, considered the new communication channels that bring the content of the Word of God to people who use "digital means". (CE) (Agenzia Fides 18/11/2015)
