Quito (Agenzia Fides) – During their 138th Plenary Assembly, Ecuador’s Catholic Bishops will reflect on various aspects of the life of the Church in their country. An informative message sent to Fides lists some main questions on the agenda: Church commitment following the pastoral visit by Pope Francis (5-13 July 2015ndr); Conclusions adopted by the recent Synod of Bishops held in Rome on the theme of the Family; elaboration of a Global 5 year Pastoral Plan for the period 2016-2020; preparation of various initiatives and activities for a fruitful celebration of the Holy Year of Mercy.
