Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The students of the Pontifical Urban College, St. Peter, St. Paul and Mater Ecclesiae, run by the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and the Pontifical Mission Societies, which house priests and religious women of mission countries that are in Rome to complete their studies, will liven up the recitation of the Missionary Rosary on Saturday evening, October 17, at 7.30pm, on the eve of World Mission Day, recalling in particular the 50th anniversary of the "Ad Gentes" conciliar decree on the Church's missionary activity.
The meditation of the glorious mysteries will start from the entrance of the university campus of the Pontifical Urbaniana University (Via Urbano VIII, 16). The special intentions of prayer will be: for missionary work; for missionaries who spend their lives for the Gospel; for deceased missionaries; for Churches that suffer, are discriminated against and persecuted; for the students of the colleges; for the Pope.
