IN NOVEMBER A SYMPOSIUM ON ST THERESA OF LISIEUX AND THE IMPORTANCE TODAY OF HER MESSAGE

The Cardinal Suenens Centre in collaboration with the Pontifical Gregorian University, is organising a Symposium 10-11 November “Therese of Lisieux and her Message today”. Speakers, all experts on the saint, will include come Cardinal Godfried Daneels, archbishop Brussels, Cardinal Francis Stafford, President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity; Rev. Patrick V. Ahern; Prof. Mary Frohlich, Sacred Heart Sister; Carmelite Fathers Jesus Castellano, Conrad De Meesters, John Welch, Christopher O’Donnell and Oblate Missionary of Mary Immaculate Father Ronald Rolheiser. The conferences will focus on the different aspects of the person and teachings the patroness of the Missions: Saint Therese a genius of theological life, the Process of the declaration of Therese as a Doctor of the Church, Therese and the Gospel, Therese and the Mystery of Suffering, the Sacred Heart and Therese, Discernment and spiritual direction.
