Buenos Aires (Fides Service) - Dr. Roberto Castellano President of the NGO Pro-Vida and Monica del Rio leader of Women’s Civil Movement organisers of an international Congress on Life and the Family taking place 17-19 June in Buenos Aires, Argentina have voiced support for the pro-family demonstration in Spain to stop a law which would give same sex unions the status of marriage. The Congress has the theme "An initiative of the Culture of Life against the culture of death will issue a final statement to present to the government. In a letter the Fides the congress organisers say “We hope the Spanish government will realise that this law undermines the family which is the essential foundation of societies and nations and will reject this move to replace the law of nature with disorder which threatens peace and justice in Spain”.
