Vienna (Fides Service) - “In this vote the victory went to the silent majority “ Fr Leo Maasburg, national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Austria, missio Austria, told Fides commenting Italy’s unsuccessful 12-13 June referendum aimed at relaxing laws on fertility treatment and the use of human embryos in research. “This outcome might also show governments that answers depend on how questions are formulated“, Fr Leo told Fides.
