Montreal (Fides Service)- “We loved you because you showed us the Body of Christ, and you showed it to the peoples at the four corners of the earth. Following Jesus and the Apostles you were a man of meeting. In the north and the south, in the east and in the west you met millions of people like Zechariah and the Samaritain woman. In every language you proclaimed the words of eternal life”. This was the message Ms Huguette Le Blanc, national director the Pontifical Mission Societies in Canada/Quebec sent to Fides for the death of Pope John Paul II. (L.M.)
