Taipei (Fides Service) - The Church in Taiwan is united in grief with the universal Church and the world, the secretary general of the Chinese Regional Bishops’ Conference Bishop John Chen told “Voice of America”: “For us as for the rest of the world the death of the Pope is a great loss. The Pope was like an elderly father filled with love and concern for each and every person. We wish he could have been with us longer”. For his part Archbishop Cheng of Tai Pei, agreed with Bishop .
