Beijing (Fides Service) - Many popular Chinese Catholic web sites give constant updates on the health of the Pope. For example “Sina” http://news.sina.com.cn/z/jiaohbw/index.shtml provides extensive information on Pope John Paul II. Men and women have voiced their opinions and expressed gratitude to the Pope using the chat line of the same web site. Some of the messages read as follows: “Lord may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Alleluia, I pray the Lord will grant the Pope serenity”; “Great Pope, Messenger of Peace! Lord I pray, bless this world make the war lords repent”; “I pray the Lord will bless the Pope, a man of goodness”; “Holy Father, you are an example of sincerity, goodness and kindness”.
