Gorkham (Agenzia Fides) - While the Nepalese population are trying to rebuild their lives devastated by the earthquake, traffickers take advantage of poverty to increase illegal trade. This is what four young Californians during their visit to Armi, district Gorkham discovered. With the promise of finding a job for adults, criminals offer $ 500 to "buy" a child, as reported in a statement released by the magazine "Christian Today". An NGO has been asked to monitor the Country's borders to save children who are victims of trafficking. The United Nations and local organizations estimate that every year between 12,000 and 15,000 children from Nepal, are taken to South Korea and South Africa. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 09/06/2015)
