Cang Zhou (Agenzia Fides) - The young are called to be light and salt of the earth: this is the theme of the path of formation regarding the young people in the diocese of Xian Xian (today Cang Zhou), in the province of He Bei, in mainland China.
The path, which has just been inauguarted, will extend for a period of 100 days. According to information sent to Fides Agency, during the opening Mass, celebrated on 15 September, the Bishop of the Diocese, His Exc. Mgr. Giuseppe Li, encouraged the young people, present and absent, to be "sentinels of the Lord".
Therefore he entrusted the 100-day of formation to the merciful Father, invoking his protection and blessing. According to the organizer, "the initiative is oriented to form the Christian identity of young people, to improve the quality and knowledge of their faith.
