Lima (Agenzia Fides) –Young missionaries (Youth without Frontiers) members of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Peru will gather in Lima 20 and 21 September for their 2nd National Meeting. Two the principal reasons : discern the diverse situations in which members of Youth without Frontiers in various parts of the country find themselves; build lasting bonds of unity and harmony among the individual members of the movement; prepare to reach a common goal.
The main aims, we learn from a statement sent to Fides, are to help these members of “Youth without Frontiers” rediscover the commitments of baptism to be witnesses and proclaimers of the faith in the world of today; help young people rediscover the Risen Christ as the beginning and end of life; promote adhesion to the Pontifical Mission Societies; be more active in local church pastoral with missionary animation, formation, communion, organization and cooperation.
