Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On 20 December 2013, Cardinal Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed Fr. Wolfgang Huber, of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Monaco as National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Germany-Monaco for a five-year period (2014-2019). The appointment is effective from 1 May 2014.
The new National Director of the PMS is currently the director of one of the departments of the Ordinariate and responsible of the "universal Church" service. He is also Rector of the Cathedral of Monaco of Bavaria and responsible for the international relations of the Archdiocese of Monaco and Freising. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 12/05/2014)
