Monday, 7 April 2014

Ankara (Agenzia Fides) - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc assured that the new regulations of Foundations linked to religious minorities in Turkey will be ready within the current month of April. This was revealed to the Turkish press by Laki Vingas, head of the Foundations of Christian minorities, who in recent days had just resigned in protest against the negligence shown by the Turkish government towards the entire dossier. In particular, according to Vingas, the delay in the drafting of new regulations related to the Foundations of religious minorities is weighing negatively on the transparent management of entities in charge of also handling many real estate assets that are attributable to individual minority religious communities. After the phone call received by the Vice - premier, Vingas decided to withdraw his resignation. (GV) (Agenzia Fides 07/04/2014)
