Cheng Du (Agenzia Fides) - There were 90 catechists from 5 dioceses of the south-western Chinese province of Si Chuan and the Diocese of Wan Zhou who participated in an intensive course on faith formation which was held at the Major Seminary of Si Chuan province, held on the occasion of the closing of the Year of Faith. According to information sent to Fides Agency, during a study week (from November 10 to 17) led by the priests of the Seminar, the participants shared their experience of a year of intense journey of faith lived in their respective parishes, addressing some themes in the light of the Sacred Scripture and stressing the importance of the figure of Mary in evangelization. At the end of the study week, the priests emphasized the role of catechists, urging them to bring the fruits of the course, in order to continue to open "the door of faith" and to "live faith in every day life".
