Kao Hsiung (Agenzia Fides) – His Exc. Mgr. Peter Liu, Archbishop of the Diocese of Kao Hsiung, presided over the ceremony of the missionary mandate for new members of the Council of the Apostolate for the Laity of the Diocese of Kao Hsiung, who were elected during the twentieth assembly of the Council held on 20 January.
According to information collected by Fides in the diocese during the Mass celebrated in the parish of Our Lady of Good Council, the Archbishop urged the new members to the service of the Church to "take responsibility for the service by invoking the presence of the Holy Spirit, which is the sole guarantor of the development of the diocese. "Mgr. Liu therefore asked for the closest cooperation between the members of the Council and all the diocesan realities, to ensure success in the mission of the diocese. Finally, he thanked the previous group of advisors who contributed to evangelization in the diocese. The new team of the Council for the Apostolate of the Laity is already at work immediately after receiving the mandate, and is preparing a formation Course for all members of the Council for January 26.
