Bogota (Agenzia Fides) - Child labor is one of the major problems of society. To try to cope with the phenomenon the Foundation Telefónica Colombia continues to be committed to the eradication of this scourge which affects more than 215 million boys, girls and adolescents. As a new initiative, the organization launches "140 hours against child labor", a competition which will be attended by all those who will implement audiovisual films producing short films of no longer than 140 seconds, on this topic. The motto of the initiative is "The first step to eliminate child labor ... is to see it," just to show that it is such a common and widespread problem that people do not even realize.
