Hong Kong (Agenzia Fides) - A Facebook page entitled "Let the little children come to me", a workshop on "The heart and faith of the child" dedicated to the education of children, a seminar on the adoration of the Eucharist of children: are some of the many initiatives by the diocesan Commission for the Catechism of the Diocese of Hong Kong to help children live the Year of Faith. According to reports from Kung Kao Po, the weekly newsletter of the diocese, the Group responsible for the faith formation of children, within the Commission, organized a workshop on 10 and 11 November for 340 catechists and pastoral workers, and for 130 "Sunday school" teachers to learn how to help children better understand the meaning of Faith and to live the Year of Faith. Yesterday, Sunday, December 2, teachers attended Fr. Antoine Thomas CSJ’s seminar, entitled "Children of Hope", a guide for Eucharistic adoration of children. The Diocesan Commission for Catechism provides CDs and other multimedia tools to help children learn about their faith, participate in the life of faith and live the Year of Faith.
