ASIA/INDIA - Resignation of the Archbishop of Delhi and Appointment of successor
Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Benedict XVI on November 30, 2012 accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Archdiocese of Delhi (India) by His Exc. Mgr. Vincent Michael Concessao, in accordance with can. 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. The Holy Father appointed Archbishop of Delhi (India) His Exc. Mgr. Anil Joseph Thomas Couto, until now Bishop of Jullundur. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 01/12/2012)
