According to information gathered by Fides Agency, 400 priests, women religious and lay faithful from 13 parishes that make up the deanery, took part in the Assembly, during which they reflected together on the main points of the Apostolic Letter "Porta Fidei" on how to respond to the Pope’s appeal for the Year of Faith, and how to rediscover faith by renewing it, witnessing it. concrete programs were also presented for the Year of Faith, confirming that "only when we appreciate faith, we will be able to share and bring the fruits of faith to others."
During the Assembly the report of pastoral work, which highlight the substantial achievements in evangelization was also presented. According to what the head of the Liturgical Group announced, there were 1,300 baptisms, 698 confirmations, 500 communions regarding children, 56 thousand confessions, 500 thousand comunions, 220 marriages, 3,440 sacraments of the sick, 360 funerals in the Deanery of Cang Nan last year. The Group of Formation of the Faith noted that today the Deanery consists of 71 basic ecclesial communities, and last year 4,300 people took part in the formation course.
