For the occasion, a new office of the Foundation in the heart of Hong Kong has been opened, so that the people passing by can find themselves a place of moral and spiritual rest to get to know the Lord.
"Living Spring Foundation" was established in 2007 by a group of lay Catholics full of missionary zeal, to offer practical support to associations, priests and men and women religious active in the field of evangelization. When they find themselves in financial difficulties to carry out a pastoral or missionary project, the Foundation offers them a contribution. The Foundation has also funded a publication of Renewal in the Spirit to be distributed in hospitals and parishes of the Diocese of Hong Kong, and the publication of the "Window of the Heart", of the Commission for the Hospital Pastoral Care. With the "5 +2 Marathon radio Evangelization" program, it has helped the Seminary of the Holy Spirit, the Center for Catholic Study, the Franciscan Biblical Institute ... In addition to supporting initiatives and projects, the Foundation is committed to evangelization with radio programs, publications, training courses, etc.. It has also sent aid to earthquake victims of Si Chuan (2008) and Haiti (2010), and the flood victims of Pakistan. (NZ) (Agenzia Fides 08/11/2012)
