ASIA/TAIWAN - The site of the Regional Episcopal Conference of Taiwan for the Year of Faith has been inaugurated
Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - The Regional Episcopal Conference of Taiwan has launched its official website for the Year of Faith in view of its opening on October 11, presided over by Benedict XVI in St. Peter's, with the participation of the Synod Fathers participating in the Synod on the new evangelization, on the fiftieth anniversary of the Second Vatican Council. According to information sent to Fides Agency, along with links to the sites of the seven dioceses in Taiwan, the site of the Episcopal Conference also refer to the official website of the Year of Faith by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization. Among the contents the most important documents relate to the Year of Faith, Vatican News, topics on Spirituality, Testimony, etc ...
The site of the Regional Episcopal Conference of Taiwan also highlights the "Guide for the Year of Faith" published in Chinese by the same Conference. It is a collection of documents and recommendations to live this Year: the Apostolic Letter Porta Fidei by Benedict XVI, the Pastoral Recommendations for the Year of Faith, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Pastoral Letter for the Year of Faith of the Regional Episcopal Conference of Taiwan, the liturgical recommendations for the Year of Faith, indigenous songs, proposals for readings taken from the Sacred Scripture, explanation of the Creed, the profession of faith.
