Michoacán (Agenzia Fides) - In the Mexican town of Mazatlan 34 murders were recorded only in the third week of September. A note sent to Fides Agency reports the statistics of the Attorney General of the State: in September 87 people have been assassinated, for a total of 1,107 deaths recorded in Mexico in 2012. The note outlines how the inhuman murderers operate and how these bodies are found. On Wednesday, September 19, in a van three headless bodies were found, and their heads have not been found yet. In Michoacán, only two days ago, the remains of seven people were found, according to the forensics report, because the bodies were cut into 70 pieces and burned. The place where the van was found, is the same where a week before another 17 dead bodies were found (see Fides 17/09/2012). In the month of August in Michoacán, there were more than 80 executions, which makes Michoacán the sixth most violent state in the country, according to data of Lantia (Institute for Safety) reported by the national press.
