AMERICA/CANADA - Resignation of the Archbishop of Keewatin-Le Pas and appointment of Apostolic Administrator
Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Benedict XVI on July 16, 2012 accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the Archdiocese of Keewatin-Le Pas (Canada), presented by His Exc. Mgr. Sylvain Lavoie, according to Canon 401 § 2 of the Code of Canon Law, appointing Rev. Fr. William Stang, O.M.I., Vicar General as Apostolic Administrator, sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same Archdiocese of Keewatin-Le Pas (Canada). (SL) (Agenzia Fides 17/7/2012)
