ASIA/VIETNAM - Resignation of the Bishop of Phu Cuong and succession
Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Holy Father Benedict XVI on June 30, 2012 accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Diocese of Phu Cuong (Vietnam), by His exc. Mgr. Pierre Tran Dinh Tu, in accordance with can. 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. He is succeeded by His Exc. Mgr. Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuóc, Coadjutor of the same Diocese. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 30/6/2012)
