Hu He Hao Te (Fides Service) - According to Faith Catholic bulleting in Hebei, recently people in a parish in Hu He Hao Te the main city in inner Mongolia had a chance to learn more about the main contents of the Christian faith as explained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The local community gave a warm welcome to Father Tsui Kam Yiu from Hong Kong, who has evangelised in mainland China for many years now. His lessons on the Catechism were attended by a good number of people mainly non Christians and not even torrential rain kept them away. Young people and adults turned out every evening to hear Father Tsui Kam Yiu speak about the faith. His style of teaching is not lacking in humour which people find attractive. After reading a few passages from the Gospels, he presented the basic principles of faith in Jesus Christ: what is faith, why should we believe. He also spoke about Christian marriage.(Agenzia Fides 23/09/2004 Lines: 15 Words: 145)
