Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on August 29, 2011 appointed rev. Delphin Kolo Ratsiadino, of the clergy of the diocese of Mananjari as Rector of the Major inter-diocesan Theological Seminary "Saint Jean Baptiste" in the Archdiocese of Fianarantsoa (Madagascar).
The new Rector is 45 and has been a priest for 16. He obtained a licentiate in canon law at the Pontifical Gregorian University and since 2008 he has been a member of the team formation in the Seminary, holding the office of Vice-rector. (S.L.) (Agenzia Fides 23/2/2012)
