Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on May 20, 2011 appointed rev. Cornelius Hankomoone, of the diocesan clergy of Monze as Rector of the preparatory inter-diocesan Seminary "Emmaus Spirituality Centre" in the Archdiocese of Lusaka (Zambia).
The new Rector was born on March 26, 1967. After primary school, he attended the Seminary in Mpima then the one on San Domenico. He was ordained a priest on March 2, 1996. Then he alternated his pastoral duties (Assistant pastor, staff member of Emmaus Spirituality Centre) with his studies at the Gregorian University in Rome, he obtained his doctorate in Spirituality.
