Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on December 3, 2011 appointed Rev. Hervfé Tienou, of the clergy of the diocese of San as National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Mali for the years 2011 to 2016.
The new National Director was born on April 11, 1970 and was ordained a priest in 1996. He obtained his baccalaureate in theology. He was Assistant pastor and educator at the Minor Seminary of the Diocese of San. He is currently Rector of the Minor Seminary and Diocesan Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies. (S.L.)
