AFRICA/CONGO - Appointment of the Rector of the national preparatory Seminary in Ouesso

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on August 28, 2010 appointed rev. Christian Rock Onésine Milandou of the archdiocesan clergy of Brazzaville as Rector of the national preparatory Seminary in Ouesso (Congo).
The new Rector was born in Brazzaville, on 17 December 1972 and was ordained a priest in 2004. He studied theology in Kinshasa where he obtained his Licentiate. In the years 2004-2007 he was diocesan Secretary for the pastoral, from 2005 to 2007 he was Rector of the Minor Seminary of the Archdiocese of Brazzaville, dedicating himself also to the care of street children. From 2007 to 2009 he was sent to Canada for a course for teachers. Since 2009 he was interim Rector of the preparatory Seminary in Ouesso. (S.L.) (Agenzia Fides 14/2/2012)
