VATICAN - Cardinal Dias, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, sends a message to Bishop Julio Jia Zhiguo
Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, has sent a message to Bishop Julius Jia Zhiguo, legitimate unofficial Bishop of the diocese of Zhengding, in He Bei province, mainland China, released on 7 July (see Fides 8/7/2010). Here is the text of the message:
“Reverend Monsignor, with great joy I received the news that you have returned to your diocese. This news makes me very happy. The Holy Father sends a special Apostolic Blessing to you and to all your faithful. Wishing you all the best for your pastoral ministry, I assure you of my prayers.
