Rome (Agenzia Fides) – The Italian Ambassador in Vietnam, Andrea Perugini, and local representatives from the Italian Association Amici di Raoul Follereau participated on October 1, in an inauguration ceremony for the Van Lang Elementary School in Van Lang, in the District of Ha Hoa, Vietnam. This work forms a part of the Emergency Aid Program 9140, financed by the Italian Government and made possible through AIFO, for the people of Ha Hoa who suffered greatly following the passing of Typhoon Kammuri in 2008. Van Lang Elementary School has been finished in just 90 working days and placed in working order in time for the 2009-2010 academic year. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 19/10/2009)
