Hsinchu (Fides Service) - To promote spiritual and psychological assistance for prison inmates the TaoYuan Centre of Formation for the Apostolate in Hsinchu diocese, Taiwan, organised a meeting at the LongTan Prison for Women on the theme “Total self giving, authentic love, eternal happiness”. The meeting was also an opportunity to voice gratitude and congratulations to the Fathers St John Baptist Congregation and the Little Sisters of Theresa of the Child Jesus whose charisma includes prison pastoral and who are both celebrating this year the 75th anniversary of their foundation. The TaoYuan Centre of Formation for the Apostolate urges all Catholics to volunteer to comfort and encourage those brothers and sisters who have broken the law and are paying their debt to society.
