Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, has appointed 7 May 2004, National Director of Pontifical Mission Societies for Canada-Quebec Mrs Huguette Le Blanc from Quebec diocese for a five year term (2004-2009). Mrs Huguette Le Blanc was born on 18 December 1943 at Dugal (Quebec) Canada. Until now she was national Secretary of the Pontifical Society St Peter Apostle. Previously she was editor and chief writer of Univers Review published by the Canadian branch of the Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Mrs Le Blanc studied Missiology at the Centre for International Cooperation, she has a degree from Laval University Quebec and studies in pastoral, theology gerontology, journalism. (S.L.)
