Hong Kong (Fides Service) - On the occasion of the Feast of St Joseph the Worker, Labour Day May 1, this year, the Commission for Pastoral Care of Workers of Hong Kong’s Catholic Bishops Conference organised a Seminar to reflection on the problem of unemployment among the middle aged. The Commission underlined that the problem is complex and affects families, society, and local church communities. It must no be underestimated. The Catholic Church in Hong Kond, the Commission said, it ready to offer spiritual and material assistance and considers this matter an important pastoral duty important for evangelisation.
