Rome (Fides Service) - Pending an important joint statement from the Pontifical Academy for Life and International Association of Catholic Doctors on problems connected with regard to the vegetative state, we present reflections in the light of what emerged from the Conference “Life-Sustaining Treatments and Vegetative State: Scientific Advances and Ethical Dilemmas”, organised by the Federation of Associations of Catholic Doctors FIAMC and the Pontifical Academy for Life in Rome.
