Rome (Fides Service) - Which is the most important of human rights? What is the role of women to defend and protect human rights? The building of a culture of peace is one of the most important challenges of the 21st century but to build an authentic culture of peace we must underline the importance of the dignity of every human person as a basis for the defence of the person’s inalienable rights. To reflect on these themes the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum College will host a day long international Conference, on 18 March with the title “Women and human rights ” sponsored by Italian government, the European Parliament, Office for Italy, representatives in Italy of the European Commission, the Italian Foreign Ministry, Ministry for Equal Opportunities, Lazio Region.
