AMERICA/PERU - Enrolment started for 10th Missiology Course organised by the National Mission Centre on basic themes of the Church’s universal mission and elements to facilitate the evangelising mission of pastoral workers

Lima (Fides Service) - Peru’s National Mission Centre CENAMIS, sponsored by the Missions Commission of the Conference of Catholic Bishops in Peru under the aegis of the Civil and Pontifical Theology Faculty in Lima, the John XXIII Higher Institute for Theological Studies of the Marcellino Champagnat University and in cooperation with the Pontifical Mission Societies in Peru, has started enrolment for a Course in Missiology 28 April to 7 July 2004. The lessons will be held every Wednesday at the PMS national office in Lima.
CENAMIS informs Fides that “the Course deals with the fundamental themes of the Church’s universal mission and it will offer various elements for the activity of pastoral workers ”. The lessons will be given by a team of well known experts and teachers of the Pontifical Theology Faculty and the Higher Institute for Theological Studies. The course, now in its 10 edition, has academic value for some centres of education and it is for priests, religious, seminarians and members of apostolic movements, parish animators, catechists, university students and anyone anxious to deepen their knowledge of the theology of mission.
