EUROPE/ITALY - “FINDING INFORMATION SOURCES”: 3RD SYMPOSIUM ON JOURNALISM AND MASS MEDIA MASS MEDIA AT PONTIFICAL GREGORIAN UNIVERSITY

Rome (Fides Service ) – A major challenge for journalism today consists in sources of information and how they should be considered? How to judge their reliability? These question will be discussed during a “Journalism and Mass Media” Symposium, organised on 5 December 4.30pm at the Pontifical Gregorian University, at piazza della Pilotta n. 4 in Roma. The theme of the symposium, “Finding Information Sources”, will be addressed by journalists from well known newspapers and radios including Brian Barron of the BBC, Richard Owen of the Times, John Allen of the National Catholic Reporter, Atonio Calabrò of Ap.com. Information from the South of the world will be the focus of a talk by Stephen Ogongo, of Africa News e Giulio Albanese, editor of the Italian missionary news agency Misna.
