Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - “Korean Youth Day” was held recently on the Island of Che Ju, in South Korea to intensify communion and faith sharing among young Koreans and young people from Taiwan dioceses of Tai Pei and Hsin Chu. According to Tai Pei bulletin Christian Life Weekly, the young people from Taiwan were deeply touched by the warm welcome received in Korea and many signs of the Lord's blessings. On returning home and sharing their experience with others the young Taiwanese Catholics said “This was an experience we will never forget. The Korean family welcomed us and helped us to see the faith lived in daily life. Their simple life and goodness and friendship was an experience of God's Love present in every day life. Remembering the past to live today better is the Korean culture and always thanking the Lord, this is a wonderful thing. The visit to Cardinal Cheng, Archbishop of Seoul, was so friendly. He encouraged us not to be afraid of difficulties in life and we were deeply moved. We will never forget the day dedicated to communion and sharing the faith with young Korean Catholics ”.
