Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - "Pastoral Care for elderly sick persons” is the theme of the 22nd International Conference promoted by the Pontifical Council for Health Pastoral Care which will be presented on 14 November at the Holy See press Office. The Conference will take place 15, 16 e 17 November in the new Synod Hall in the Vatican.
Speakers at the presentation will include: Cardinal Javier Lozano Barragán, President of the Pontifical Council for Health Pastoral Care; Bishop José L. Redrado, O.H., Council secretary; Fr Felice Ruffini, M.I., Council under secretary; Prof. Roberto Bernabei, director of the department for Gerontological, Geriatric and Physical Sciences, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Rome; the president of the Società Italiana di Gerontologia e Geriatria; Prof. Massimo Petrini, director of the Centre for the promotion and development of Geriatric Assistance, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
